THE SAILS OF SAINT-TROPEZ FROM SEPTEMBER 26 TO OCTOBER 3 AND SUPERBOAT SAILS FROM OCTOBER 4 TO 9
2020: New! the event goes on for several days with the Superboats in the second part
- Gathering of different classes of "Modern" and "Tradition" sailboats but also the Wally, Class J, (up to 300 yachts). - Concentration of experienced or non-experienced sailors but all in love with the event and Saint-Tropez. - Coastal courses for the “Moderns” (departure outside the Gulf) and “Tradition” (departure in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez) but also “banana” type courses for the Wally and Class J. A note that arrivals are all made (except reduction of route) in front of the Tour du Portalet for a unique spectacle. - A challenge: "the 55 cup club" which is run between two sailboats (the winner of the year 2015 must challenge a other boat) .– Challenges: Dick Jayson / Jean Laurin day in memory of the creators of the Nioulargue. This day consists of challenges launched by a boat to one or more others. The course is chosen by mutual agreement and the winner is announced by radio to the Challenges Committee. There is no classification but just the pleasure of participating. - The Centennial regatta honored by the Gstaad Yacht Club.– A village created from the ground up behind the harbor master's office of Saint-Tropez is the essential place to gather: exhibitors, partners, “Press” center and the organization. - Sportiness, conviviality, festivity are essential. - Admire, film, photograph ... this magical spectacle of nuances, a real panorama of multiple sails and landscaped tones, a palette
