General Conditions

In order for you to be entitled to the services offered by Riviera Villages, please carefully read the general terms below. They govern the stay sales and are validated at the time of the order. Booking a stay implies full acceptance of our general terms.
RESERVATION TERMS
• The reservation is effective subject to the village's approval, after receiving the instalment and after receiving the duly signed and completed reservation contract, or after acceptance of the general terms of sale when reserving on line.
• Reservations are binding on Riviera Villages, subject to Riviera Villages' acceptance, which Riviera Villages is free to do or refuse, depending on availability and as a rule, on any circumstances likely to affect the performance of the reservation. Riviera Villages offers traditional family stays, and the accommodation is specially designed for that purpose. Riviera Villages reserves the right to turn down any reservation conflicting with that interest, or attempting to abuse it.
• The reservation of a camping spot or rental is made on a strictly personal basis. You should not sub-let or sell your reservation without the village's prior consent.
• Minors should be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Campground spot
• The base rate includes the spot for the tent, the caravan or camping car for 1 or 2 people, access to the reception infrastructures.
Rental
• The rental accommodation is equipped.
The base rate is 1 to 6 places depending on rental type.
• Riviera Villages reserves the right to refuse access to the village to groups or families coming with a number of participants exceeding the capacity of the rented spot, or to increase the amount of the stay.
STAY RATES AND TAX
• The indicated prices are valid for the 2012 season. They correspond to a night and are given in Euros, all taxes included.
• The stay tax amount is included in the stay amount (2011 : 0.60€ Grimaud & Ramatuelle). 
PAYMENT TERMS
Rental :
• For reservations made more than 30 days before the beginning of the stay, a 30 % instalment on the price of the amount of reserved services should be paid upon reservation. The balance should be paid at the latest 30 days before the village stay beginning date.
• Reservations made less than 30 days before the stay beginning date should be paid in full at the time of the reservation at the village.
Campground spot :  You pay 30% when you make your reservation and the balance when you arrive.
« Kon tiki - Toison d'or » : A deposit of 50% of the total rental price is required on reservation. The outstanding balance must be paid 1 month before arrival. If your reservation is made less than a month prior to your arrival, full payment is required on reservation
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
1. Change in your reservation
• Changes regarding your reservation may be made at no cost, subject to availability in one of the Riviera Villages.
• Without a message from you indicating a postponement of your arrival date, the accommodation may be available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned in the contract, and you will as a result lose the benefit of your reservation and amount paid.
2. Unused services
No interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) in rental accommodation, due to you, will entitle to a refund.
3. Cancellation due to Riviera Villages
In the event of a cancellation due to Riviera Villages, except in the event of force majeure, the stay will be refunded in full. Such cancellation shall not entitle to damages.
4. Cancellation due to client
In the event of cancellation, please advise us promptly in writing, by e-mail or fax, confirmed by registered mail with a supporting document.
• Refund without cancellation costs: We assure you of the reimbursement of all amounts paid (without EUR 15 handling costs), without cancellation costs, up until the day before your arrival if the cancellation is made for the following serious reasons:
a) Sickness, accident, death of reserver, his or her spouses, his or her relatives in the ascending or descending lines.
b) Dismissal of reserver or spouse from employment.
• Refund with cancellation costs: If the cancellation is made for any other reason (not specified above) at the latest 15 days prior to the arrival date, EUR 50 for cancellation costs will be applied and deducted from payments made.
• No refund: If the cancellation is made for a cause not specified above, less than 15 days prior to arrival, it shall not lead to any refund of amounts paid.
YOUR STAY
1. Arrival
• Rental accommodation: Depending on the villages and the periods, the arrival days are variable (see the specific terms of each village). On the day of your arrival at the Riviera Villages, the bungalows will be available after 4 PM.
However, in the event of an early arrival and depending on our availability, everything will be done to reduce the waiting time.
• A EUR 200 deposit is asked from the renter upon arrival. The deposit shall be returned to the client on the departure date and after a full inspection (INVENTORY) of the bungalow. The management reserves the right to retain all or part of the deposit in the event of any failure to comply with health and/or rented equipment rules. If the renter should depart outside the business hours of the reception office, the bungalow will be checked later and the deposit sent by mail.
2. During your stay
• The holidaymaker is responsible for taking out insurance: the village declines any responsibility for any theft, fire, bad weather, etc and in the event of any incident pertaining to the holidaymaker's civil liability.
• Riviera Villages declines any liability for valuables, belongings and personal objects of the renter, as safes can be rented at the reception office.
All clients should comply with the provisions of the internal policies. Each renter shall be responsible for the disturbance and nuisances caused by the persons staying with him or paying him a visit.
3. Departure
• Rented accommodation: On the departure date specified on your contract, the rented accommodation should be vacated before 9.00 am. The accommodation should be returned in perfect cleanness condition, and the inventory should be checked, any broken or damaged item will be paid for by you, as will be any repair work on the premises as needed. The deposit shall be returned to you at the end of the stay after deducting indemnity amounts, on sight of supporting documents, for possible damages as acknowledged on the outgoing inspection report. If kept, the deposit does not exclude further compensation should the costs exceed the amount of the deposit.
• If the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, a cleaning cost will be applied (see Rate page for each of the villages).
• For any delayed departure one additional day may be charged at the applicable night rate.
ANIMALS
Pets are accepted in consideration of a fixed amount of EUR 5 / day. Pets should be looked after at all times and kept on a leash throughout the stay. Any breach of health rules (free cleaning equipment available from reception) or safety rules caused by the animal may lead to the masters' eviction. A prefectoral order prohibits the presence of any pet on the beach. Cats' and dogs' vaccination books should be up to date. Access by first category dogs to public transportation, public spaces, excluding public ways and premises open to the public,is strictly forbidden. Dogs in the second category should be muzzled and kept on a leash by an adult.
DIPSUTES
Any dispute shall be brought to the courts of the place of the village. Any claim regarding the non-conformity of the services with the contractual provisions should be reported in writing (registered mail with receipt conformation) to the manager of the respective village.
Riviera Villages' liability
The client formally acknowledges that Riviera Villages may not be held responsible for the provision by its partners or any third party, of false information mentioned in the brochure or web site of Riviera Villages regarding the sites, including presentation pictures, the descriptions, the activities, the leisures, the services and opening dates.
No pictures and texts used in the brochure or web site of Riviera Villages are contractual. They are provided for information purposes only. It may occur that some activities and facilities offered by the villages and mentioned in the description appearing in the brochure are cancelled, including for weather reasons or force majeure events such as defined by French courts.
INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND PRIVACY
The information that you provide with your order will not be passed on to any third party. Such information shall be considered as confidential by Riviera Villages. It will be used only by Riviera Villages' personnel, to process your order and reinforce and customise the communication and offer of services reserved for Riviera Villages clients, based on your centres of interest. In accordance with the Privacy Act dated January 6, 1978, you have a right to access, amend and object to your personal data. Conditions for Kon Tiki 2012

Riviera Kon Tiki opens from 31st of March 2012 until the 05th of November 2012.

* For the models Tiki Hutte 1st and 2nd beach row sheets, towels and a complementary bathroom kit are included in the rental price.

For all the other models, the sheets and towels are not included, but can be hired on site, or you can provide them yourself.

  • Possibility to book a specific number: against payment of 10% extra of the total rental price you can choose a specific number of Tiki Hutte or mobile home (if available when reserving).
  • Please note that the cleaning of the mobile homes is the responsibility of the guests during their stay and the fridge has to be defrosted before departure. On the day of departure clients may either clean the mobile home themselves or pay and extra 60€ for final cleaning service. For the models “Tiki”, the final cleaning is included in the rental price.
  • Each booking includes a parking space for ONE vehicle only. For every extra car, clients are requested to use a visitor car park (parking fee). Visitors have to present themselves at the reception.

Conditions for Toison d'Or 2012

1) Riviera Village TOISON D’OR is open from 30th March to 07th October 2012.

2) Possibility to reserve the situ ation of your mobile home by choosing to pay an additional 10% of the total rental price for a specific no. (subject to availability when making your booking).

3) Each reservation includes a parking place for one vehicule only  Any other vehicules, trailers or visitors must use the visitors car park which is payable and is provided for this purpose. Visitors must report to the reception.

4) Penalty

Attention! for your own comfort please respect the maximum number of persons allowed in each model of mobile home: MINI CALIFORNIA , KASAI COTE PLAGE 4 and KASAI  GARDEN  4 can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children under 13  years old. CALIFORNIA, KASAI COTE PLAGE 6, KASAI PRESTIGE, KASAI  QUERO and KASAI GARDEN 6  can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children under 13  years old. KASAI MER, KASAI BEACH and KASAI COTE JARDIN can accommodate up to 4 adults. Should this maximum be exceeded, an extra 20 Euros per supplementary person per day will be charged.

5) The hirer is responsible for the upkeep of the mobile home during the hire period. On departure day the mobile home must be returned cleaned and the fridge defrosted. An end cleaning service is available at a fixed cost of €40 for a “classic” mobile home or €50 per “kasai”. This may be reserved and paid for at the reception up to 72hrs before your departure.  In all cases the mobile home will be checked by our staff before your deposit is returned.

6) Each mobile home for hire has an equipped kitchen. An inventory list is available upon request.

Bedding is provided (pillows and blankets) Please note bedlinen, towels, tea towels etc. are not provided . The hirer may either bring these items with them. The onsite laundry hires out sheets and towels as well as providing a laundry service. Please contact us for prices.
